Film Preparation

Actors: 

        Reid: Cinematographer

        Josh: Human boy

        Khang: Alien

Costumes: 

    We just need to find an alien costumes and have some normal school clothing.

Props: Props we will need is some type of books that would block the hallway, so that it would cause our main character to trip in the hallway. Other props include just the lockers and possible trash can that could be used to show that the school is abandoned,

Locations: 

    We will need to utilize the courtyard as well as one or two hallways that will prove to be an obstacle for our main human. 

Dates and times: 

     We can do this during anytime of the day because of the school hours. However, we can add special effects and older film cameras to make this more rustic.

Scripts: 

    Our film opener does not have any lines in it except the person screaming once he trips. Other then that its all diegetic sounds that will be used to show realism and importance of the film.

Film Equipment:

    We could use a basic horizontal flipped phone camera. However, it would be better to actually get a filming camera. however, there is no need for boom mics due to how close the characters will be for each camera shots.

Q3 Week 6

  Photo of the Editing process: (3) Photo of our editor: (1) Some titles and fonts that will be used are of Sci-Fi origins. This can be exampled by the "Chiller" font or the "Smack" font. Both are exampled in word and give a strange and unknown feeling about them.  Video effects used are weather elements such as an older film reel and rustic feel.  Transitions are smooth cuts between the transition to the human being and the Alien. However, there are also quick cuts that relive the experience of fear and tension between the human being and the chase of the Alien.  Audio effects such as a slurred speech of the human due to the tiered nature of the human. Some problems are the cuts in between editing. This can be exampled by the photo of our editor where he is struggling with the hallway scene and creating an in-depth set of all these scenes put together.
